Best bands of the weekend? Of the ones I'd never heard before, Crucified Venus and Haggis (see below) were outstanding and Tetsu Arraye were just plain scary. Resistance 77, Section 5, NY Rel-X, Midnight Creeps are always great. TV Smith, The Damned, The Anti-Nowhere League and TSOL were truly awesome and could all play on any bill, anywhere and still pull a good crowd, they are fantastic. Once again, too many bands, too many stages for you to see everyone you want. And yes, that is a criticism. I would actually prefer fewer bands, in fewer locations |
