The setlist was something like that, give or take the odd number here or there. To be honest, I was not really paying that much attention to my anorak; I was enjoying the gig too much.
“You could have found out, for the sake of the record!” you whine like maggots.
Right.
There wouldn't have been any point asking Mike or Dave what they had played; Dave can’t remember the words as he’s singing them ;-) as for Mike, well, misspent youth, don’t you know?!
Undoubtedly, this is one of the most complete performances I’ve seen from this line-up of the band. Now that they have a number of live shows under their belt, they are really cooking. The re-worked songs, featuring Tim, work well, and the whole dynamic of the band seems so much more intense. This is a band that plays like there’s not going to be anything to do after 23:59:59. I challenge anyone out there to show me where you can get more bang for your buck than at a Demon gig. The exchange rate is pretty good at the moment and recent statistics show that the Demon Enjoyment Index has never been higher, although the per capita active fan involvement percentage figures could be healthier.
Did I mention they are bloody heavy too? Just thought it might make a difference to a few of you long hairs out there.
Right, nothing much more to say, surprisingly, and anything that I have to say about Demon has been said elsewhere and I’m not one to waffle on for thousands and thousands and thousands of words about nothing whatsoever to do with the gig.
I’m outta here, people!
Oh, and The Devil’s Triangle* (Coventry/Nuneaton/Warwick) still sucks big, fat, hairy donkey balls…
